Ready for Spring

Image
Anyone ready for spring? Please raise your hands up! Amen to that sisters, I am so ready for the warmer weather, green grass, sweet smelling roses, colorful azaleas and beautiful camellias, not so with the allergies that comes with it, well, Benadryl will take care of the latter. The best thing about spring is we got to go outside, enjoy the perfect not too cold , not too hot weather. Here in Louisiana, spring means gathering with friends and crawfish season, yum! Spring also means we can get away with wearing flowery, pastel color outfits, just like this one. The top is Loft smocked sleeve, this is a regular XS, I usually wear petite XS but this one has a perfect fit. (checked the website, they sold out). What I like in this top is the flare sleeves, it is very feminine, you can wear it with denim jeans or dress it up with a skirt just like I'm wearing for more formal look.     The skirt I am wearing is from Chicwish. Happy Valentines Day! I guess a lot of yall has some hot date or planning something very special  with the husband, boyfriend, girlfriends or  family on this special day. It can be dinner at a restaurant or maybe a quite dinner at home, ill say why not dress up? Valentines day only comes one day a year right? I have this H&M lacy top years ago and I could not find an appropriate day to wear it. What is the best day to wear red but valentines day! I was digging in my closet to find a skirt that go along with this lacy top but I could not find any. Then I spotted my little black fit and flare Express dress and it came out good. I add a few accessories  ( dangling pearl earrings, pearl cuff br...

Its been awhile since I posted here in the blog, Rachel and I was  battling the cough and cold for the past 3 weeks ( thanks God its not the flu) and I couldn't brave the cold weather outside to take some photos. Today,  it kind of warm up a little bit and I feel a little better so I'm back to the blog again. This sweater I'm wearing is from Loft, it is very cozy, warm and soft, not itchy at all. This is PXS and it fits perfect, the sleeves are not too long for me, I'm glad. It was on sale when I bought it during Christmas time, and additional 40% off, not very hard on the budget.  I machine washed  this sweater many times already and I have not seen any pulled thread, still looks new. I always lay flat my sweaters to dry, I never put it in the dryer even if the care instructions says you can. And one thing, make sure you hang your sweaters on a hanger the right way so it wont stretch out, I always fold mine. Anyw...
