I wonder who else in here go through a situation like this. You are invited to a party, a birthday party, engagement party,  graduation party or casual dinner with friends.  You wanted to go but you already wore all your favorite dresses and who wants to be in the same dress or outfit again and again, but you also are on a tight budget, you don't want to spend it on a dress just for this one party. What a head ache! It is officially spring and as I said in my previous post,  it is about time to pack all the winter gear and start shedding all the heavy layers. Thank God this week it finally stopped raining, we were blessed with the most gorgeous weather. I spend most days working in my yard, though most mornings it is still cold to me. Next week's weather forecast is a little colder so I left out some light sweaters, denim jackets  and cardigans for this kind of weather.  I have been waiting for a day like this to wear this beautiful lightweight sweater I found in a local boutique. I know, I know I'm a day late to post the first day of spring blog ( opps) but better late than never. There is no better way to celebrate the official 2nd day of spring  than taking pictures with the azaleas in their full glory. Here in the South we are so blessed to have a very beautiful blooms and gorgeous weather at this time of the year  and we finally put the bulky sweaters and coats for storage. As much as I like the winter outfits, I also look forward to the spring colors and summer pieces. Today,  I will be talking about how to dress up and not getting broke. I do splurge sometimes but not to the point of maxing out credit cards and in debt. There are lots of stylish and trendy clothes that are not expensive if you only know where to look. Spring is here, spring is here, its the best time of the year! I don't know why I cant get that song out of my mind.  Officially its 10 more days before the 1st day  of spring,  but here in CenLa it feels like spring already. Dogwoods started blooming 2 weeks ago, azaleas and hydrangeas started popping out, I saw few purple wisteria flowers and camellias are in full force. The weather is tricky though, cooler in the morning and beautiful in the afternoon but the rain, oemmgee, seems like it would never stop. In this post I will show yall how to rock a floral wide leg pants, sometimes they call it palazzo pants. What I have here is actually a culottes that I got from Marshalls for less that $15.  It is very comfortable, a very good spring outfit and one best thing I love is there was no alteration needed. I know I am not diligent enough to post something on the blog on a daily basis. I wish I could but sometimes it is hard to find time to do so. These past weeks was very challenging, it finally warm up a little bit here in Louisiana but most days it is raining. And if the sun is out, I'm out and about doing chores and running errands.
