White Dress Possibilities!

I wonder who else in here go through a situation like this. You are invited to a party, a birthday party, engagement party,  graduation party or casual dinner with friends.  You wanted to go but you already wore all your favorite dresses and who wants to be in the same dress or outfit again and again, but you also are on a tight budget, you don't want to spend it on a dress just for this one party. What a head ache! Well ladies, in this blog post today, I  will talk about recycling dresses, a white dress to be specific that you can wear it on different occasions and nobody will never notice that it is the same dress you had previously wore. I started with a white dress because it is one of a staple that you need to have in your wardrobe just like the black dress.

This white dress is an old favorite from Ann Taylor. The embroidery in the hem makes it a timeless classic. I paired it with a destructed denim jacket I got from Marshalls for less than $20. This outfit can be worn on a more casual gathering.

In this look, I paired the same white dress with a J Crew tie waist top and a loafer from Steve Madden. The embroidery in the hem and the tie waist bows make it very soft and feminine and a good choice for a lunch out with the girls or dinner with the family.

For a more formal gathering, add a blazer, and you are good to go. I am adding my old Gap blazer in blush, a scallop shoulder bag I got from TJMaxx for less than $50. I also wore a pointy loafer flats from Nordstrom.

There are so much possibilities for this old white dress. On this last pictures, I paired it with a light suede moto jacket I got from Old Navy. The moto jacket is actually a good cover up for todays pictorial because it was very windy and a little cool for me.  You can also pair it with a cardigan of any color. By summertime, this white dress will be my summer staple sans the cover up. So ladies, take my advice, invest on a white dress for it will go a long way and will never go out of style.

XOXO,
Haidee
