Statement Accesories

I know I am not diligent enough to post something on the blog on a daily basis. I wish I could but sometimes it is hard to find time to do so. These past weeks was very challenging, it finally warm up a little bit here in Louisiana but most days it is raining. And if the sun is out, I'm out and about doing chores and running errands. Today , I was able to take pictures before sunset, pardon me if some of the pictures didn't come out really good.

I will be talking about statement accessories in this post. The statement earrings, small box handbags are becoming a trend this days. What I have here is dupe from the https://www.markcross.com/Mark Cross Grace small box bag. I fell in love of the brand( Mark Cross) because of its unique design but unfortunately it is too much for my budget.

I found this little treasure from Marshalls. The brand of this box bag is Madison West. Compared to the Mark Cross, the one I have didn't cost much, less than $50. 

I was looking for a pastel color but they only have 1 color available. 

I usually don't wear big statement earrings but this one I cant resist. The ball drop earrings are coming back this season. I got mine from Versona boutique which cost less that $15. 

Statement accessories sure do help make a flat outfit into something new and chic. Start with a plain dress or outfit with neutral color and start building from there. Don't over accessorize. One rule for statement accessories, wear one bold piece at a time. Avoid wearing necklace and earrings together as much as wearing fashion rings and bracelet together.
