A visit to the Plantation

The Rosedown Plantation in located in St. Francisville, La. Our area is blessed with many historic sites that awaits to be explored. A good place to bring the kids on a spring day. It only costs $7/person to explore the grounds and $12 if you want to do the guided tour of the inside of the house. 

The grounds of the plantation is composed of 300+ acres with formal landscaped gardens.  Lining in the front of the house are old moss covered oaks. It is a very beautiful place to visit especially during spring when the azaleas and camellias are in blooms. 

Picnic tables are also available  when yall get hungry after the tour. Rosedown Plantation is open 9am-5pm, everyday except major holidays.
