Shift no more
If I am asked to choose between style and comfort, I will choose comfort in a heartbeat. During summertime I always love to wear shift dresses. It is very casual and comfortable. By the way, shift and sheath dress are not the same. Shift dress are a little loose and has more rooms through the bust, waits and hips. Sheath dresses are form fitting and it can be above or knee length.
When I found this chambray shift dress from Nordstrom last year I fall in love. This dress was my summer staple last year. I admit, the more I wear it I found it a little boring so I decided to spruce it up a little bit this year.
On the first 2 pictures, I add a little color using the Ann Taylor scarf. The silk scarf trend is on a comeback this year, and I found this beautiful piece on sale at Ann Taylor. Kate Spade also has beautiful silk scarf pieces but a little pricier for me. You can tie it many ways but my go to style is tied in the front or sideways.

Another way to style this boring shift dress is adding a belt on it. In here I add a Tory Burch belt.
I paired it with a black Tory Burch Reva flats and I'm good to go.
Have a fun summer ladies!
Xoxo,
Haidee
